I am a historian of North American history in its global entanglements. My research and teaching revolves around the history of knowledge, bodies, health and the environment. Until the end of March 2025, I am an interim professor of North American History at the University of Erfurt. After that, I return to my work as a senior research associate in the interdisciplinary LeipzigLab "Global Health" at the University of Leipzig.
